What the review covers
You don’t need to know what’s wrong before we start. Finding that out is the job.
- 01Short conversations with your team. Who uses each report, what decisions it supports, and where people stop trusting the numbers.
- 02A review of your key reports. Dashboards, spreadsheets, recurring reports, and the logic behind the numbers in them.
- 03A map of where your data comes from. Source systems, exports, manual steps, and refresh points, in plain English.
- 04Metric definition gaps. Every KPI that’s unclear, duplicated, or calculated differently in different places.
- 05A 30/60/90-day plan. Written findings and a prioritized roadmap your team can follow on its own, or with my help.
Not included: repairs, automation, software training, and implementation. Those are scoped separately once you know what’s worth doing.

Up to 6 priority reports or dashboards, more conversations with your team, a deeper look at sources and refreshes, and a roadmap that flags quick wins.
Need more time? Extra hours are $175 each, and only with your approval. If the included hours run out, work pauses until we agree on next steps. Software licenses aren’t included, and fees are billed in advance unless we agree otherwise.

What do we get at the end?
Written findings, a review of your metrics and data sources, and a 30/60/90-day plan. You can carry it out with your own team, or with my help.
Does this include fixing things?
No. The Reality Check tells you what to fix and in what order. Repairs, builds, and automation are scoped separately, so you only pay for the work that matters.
How long does it take?
We agree on a delivery date before starting, based on how many reports are involved, access, and your team’s availability. The 30/60/90 days refer to the plan you get afterward, not the review itself.
What do we need to prepare?
Your priority reports, the numbers or questions that don’t add up, and one person who knows how the reports get made. You don’t need to have diagnosed anything.
What if the included hours run out before the work is finished?
Work pauses and we talk before anything else happens. Then we agree on a revised scope together, whether that means trimming what’s left or adding hours at $175 each. You’re never billed for extra hours you didn’t approve.
What happens after?
The written plan guides your next steps. If you want help carrying it out, we can scope a project or set up ongoing monthly support.
Which size should we choose?
If the problem lives in one area, like a single dashboard and the reports around it, up to 3 reports is usually enough. If several teams or systems are involved, go with up to 6. We can decide together on the intro call.
Who on our team needs to be involved?
One person who knows how the reports get made, plus a few short conversations with the people who use them. Nobody has to stop their regular work.
Will you need access to our systems?
Usually, yes. We agree on exactly what I can access before I start. Where it makes sense, I begin with sample or de-identified data, and permissions go through your administrator.
Can you fix things after the review?
Yes. Once you know what’s worth doing, I can scope a Dashboard Rescue, a Reporting Automation project, or ongoing monthly support to carry out the plan.
